I started learning massage in September as part of my HND fitness, health and exercise course at Stevenson College. My mentor is Ali Hutchinson, a fully qualified massage therapist who is also a lecturer within the sports department at Stevenson college.  When i began the course the biggest challenge i faced was remembering the sequences of the massages. Currently i am about to begin my massage exams at college and when i graduate in the summer i hope to go on and gain a diploma in Swedish massage and then progress onto a diploma in Sports and Remedial massage with the Scottish Massage School. After i have gained these qualifications my aim is to set up my own massage business serving Edinburgh and the Lothians.
